[Drusilla has been away on a combat mission in the mountains. She loves those types of missions; this was her second, and it was a long one. She fed; oh, she fed. Gorged herself on the blood of the fallen enemies that littered the steep, rocky terrain around her.

Turned a few Third Party warriors who seemed attractive enough to turn. She had plans to create her own demon army on the Outside. These fell through when the Organization shipped her back to the enclosure.]

[The video clicks on, and a horrid picture appears: a likeness similar to Jilly, with dark pits instead of eyes and a mouth stitched shut mid-scream. Beside it is a scratched-in number Seven.]

[Tonight Drusilla is on a quest to kill whomever she can and to turn whomever she can into vampires. The last thread, chronologically, will go to Buffy (together, possibly, with Faith if Aly and Kyra feel like doing that).]

Willow. It got Buffy's back up; she advanced. "Metaphorically, of course. I've been dancing this dance long enough to know not to bring bullets to a stake-fight."

Dru smiled and, with eyes half-closed, beckoned Buffy closer. "They are all beautiful, slayer. You are fortunate in your family."

What are you? [Cas is picking up some creeper vibes. The kind that make him want to burn demons out of their skulls, only that power's been spotty too. Stupid Luceti.]

Now...what exactly did we share?

The vampires was right. Very, very right. Buffy was fortunate indeed, if not strictly happy. There were gaps. There were missing persons. But whoever she had left, she loved them. And they loved her. What could be more fortunate than that?

"Jealous, Drusilla?"

"No, slayer. But you have what I want. Family. I miss my family here, in this brass knocker world. Everything brass and nothing silver. And I've fed so much, so much of late."

We had a bond, you and I. We had a mischief between us. You could be my family...if you would submit.

One of the night's brood? [She is sensing some rather powerful vibes from this stranger even if her powers, too, are inhibited by Luceti's barrier.] Vampires. My family. You? Something delicious no doubt.

Is it? That's a shame. I'd hate to confuse you with all the vampires named Drusilla hanging out around here--Druie? That's kind of cute. I'll test drive that one.

"Third Party. In the mountains. It was such a lovely party." Dru focused on the slayer. There were visions to envision and impart to the slayer. Her dearest companions of House Seven, torn open. Her lover, a pale huddled corpse.

[Her tone is pleasant enough; this, unfortunately for Tony, is not one of the buttons. Spike gives her pet names all the time.]

...The enemy of her enemy was not her friend. Buffy would not mourn those TPers but she knew that Drusilla hadn't done it out of responsibility for the lost souls of the town. The vampire hadn't fought; she'd fed.

"Correction? It's a war, not a party. But I can understand why a deluded lunatic like you might get the two confused."

I...I think he'd be able to make it home safe. [The vamp seemed mostly interested in House Seven and its inhabitants at the moment.

What with her camping out in the yard and all. Still, she hopes she isn't wrong.]

[There are only a few hundred feet between CH6 and the Battledome. Even if they are through the forest, even if it is after dark, Prince can normally handle himself. He's a strong fighter, and more than capable of defending himself from all but the most dangerous residents. Usually.

Not today, though. Just a few days ago, he went toe-to-toe with the ~~son~~ ~~daughter~~ child of Satan, and he has a cracked rib and a slight concussion. As smoothly as his recovery is going, he's in no shape to be walking alone. In the woods. After nightfall. A few hundred feet can be a lot farther than it seems.]

[She had stopped walking when the woman started in her direction. Watched quietly, thoughtfully. The bare feet are the first thing she notices when the woman gets close enough. It's odd, to see someone wander around without any shoes on. But she knows by now that odd is not enough of a reason to draw her bow.

Especially when the woman seems unarmed.

But wariness? Wariness is acceptable. It doesn't hurt, to be on your guard.

She shakes her head, no.] I live here.

[Scorpius probably does not look that edible. But he is out on this fine night, and I'm willing some sort of thread as he goes int a certain shortcut around the edge of town late at night]

You would be ill-advised to attack me. [Cas might not be able to burn her out of her skull -he's feeling weak tonight- but he doesn't know how good angel blood tastes to the unholy.

He should probably try to kill her, but...well, that's not his job. He has more important matters to attend to.]

Oh, goody. I'd love to remind you of your childhood--question. Were you a vampire then, or was that something you grew into? I'm not really familiar with how that usually works.
