a) Okay so, I don't know much about auras but after reading your Very Helpful link I decided that his would just be black. Solidly. James is just....well he's a psychopath and he loves causing chaos and ruining peoples days and laughing at stupid people. Also he likes killing people and blowing shit up. If he can.

d) I don't think that James would be easy to hypnotize since he has that..superior intellect thing. But, I know very little of the Sunnydale world and if it's easy to hypnotize the genius crowd then by all means she's free to do so. He has no mental blockings for that.
But after the first time I think it'd be rather hard.
